The topic
Philosophers of art are currently looking deeper into artforms and art-related practices that have so far raised only limited debate – for instance: site-specific art, installation art, artwork restoration, culinary art, fashion as art, conceptual art, architecture, photography and videography. The aim of the volume is to collect original, well-argued contributions exploring new directions in the philosophy of art. We welcome papers discussing under-researched artforms or art-related practices and focusing on issues concerning, for instance, artwork metaphysics, artwork ontology, artwork phenomenology, aesthetic appreciation, artistic value, artistic content, authorial intentions, art media, art genres, or artistic style.
